New York City – a place where so many people are jammed into a small area, yet so many feel alone. “My Name” is a song that lyrically illustrates this quandary: The struggle of life, the pain of being isolated and misunderstood. This song is also an anthem to rise above the challenges. It is a positive message of standing up for yourself and your beliefs. To always follow your dreams and to never give up!

Ivory Tower Project looks forward to the “Autumn”

Independent recording artists: Ivory Tower Project is currently working on their next CD release and has recruited in the recording studio: Tyrone Johnson of the NY City band: Autumn. Tyrone is a master of many musical instruments, but his contribution to Ivory Tower Project will be playing bass guitar on the song: “The Ides of March (Et tu Brute)” a Classic Rock song based on the Shakespearian play of “Julius Caesar.” Watch for the CD release sometime in 2011.

Guerrilla Records re-releases RED HOT

Ivory Tower Project now has a new release available on October 7, 2008. RED HOT has been re-released by the independent label as a 10 track album. The album includes the original 4 tracks that was on the original EP, but also includes an additional 5 tracks that have been recorded by the original band members. A special track will also be included of a solo recording of the group’s original drummer: Sal DiAngelo – who died a few months after the band’s first recording session. Also to be included is a candid radio interview with the group’s co-founder: Mark Regula. This release has been professionally mastered and duplicated with new front and back cover art and liner notes.

Sneak Peak at New ITP Release

Guerrilla Records is happy to announce a new release from the Independent recording artist: Ivory Tower Project. RED HOT will be re-released later this year as a 10 song CD album. The album will include the 4 tracks that was on the original EP, but it will also include an additional 5 tracks that have been recorded and written by the original band members. Additional plans for the duo this year is to recruit a rhythm section for a live showcase and will play a limited tour in the NY Metro area.

ITP Included on a New Compilation CD

Radio Gets Wild is an independent radio station based in the UK broadcasting around the world 24/7, playing all styles of music from Indie & Unsigned artists. Every year RGW makes assessments of the various Independent Artists musical submissions and awards outstanding artists on 3 levels: Bronze – Silver – and Gold. In 2005, Radio Gets Wild awarded independent recording artists: Ivory Tower Project with their Gold Artist Award.

In 2007, Radio Gets Wild has partnered with World Domination Records (also based in the UK) to present a series of Compilation CDs for the global music market showcasing this group of internationally awarded talent of various genres. This CD series entitled: “Around the World in 60 Minutes” which is now available on: iTunes, Sony Connect, e-Music, Real Rhapsody and Napster.
